Did you know that in 1947, Laurel & Hardy
spent a whole week at Butlin's Skegness?
They appeared nightly at the Gaiety Theatre, doing a sketch in a Variety
Show, and
also acted as judges at some of the weekly competitions;
including:
The Holiday Lovelies; The Knobbly Knees; and the Junior Lovelies.
