I will shortly be sending out your Booking Confirmations. This will contain the BOOKING-IN CODE you will need, when you first book-in at RECEPTION. (You may also need to show it at the gate, before you are allowed in.) I will also send you a map of the Butlins Resort, on which will be marked the venues associated with your accommodation and the Reunion itself.
We are all staying in SILVER ACCOMMODATION at STARFISH QUAY. The Convention Room is known as "THE ROYAL ARTHUR SUITE." (I am reliably informed that all the sailors have now vacated, and all the hammocks removed. I know this might disappoint a couple of you.)
For anyone who knows of the OLD layout of the site, the accommodation and Convention Room are in and around where the EDINBURGH BUILDING used to stand. (Behind the Ingoldmells Hotel - which is now "JAKS".) We will most likely be taking our meals in the Coral Beach restaurant (previously the Golden Grill Restaurant, situated under the Queens Showbar) - although this will only be confirmed when you actually book in. (N.B. The original Queens building is still there, and the upstairs showbar now being known as "REDS.")
For those who you who haven't yet sent in photos of yourself, from your time in Reds, please do so ASAP. If you are not adept at copying and scanning using a computer, send your photos to me, and I will do them for you. And don't forget to let me know the three songs that instantly transport you back to your Butlins' days, then I can get the original recordings put onto a compilation disc. The photos and records requests will go along way to establishing the atmosphere we are working hard to create, so please motivate yourself to get them to me soon.

BUTLINS IS NOW FILLING UP, AND WE HAVE BEEN TOLD

VISITORS
Day visitors can join our Convention at
the following rates:
To use the Convention Room between between 10am and 6pm you can purchase
a pass @ £5 per day.
We have negotiated a special arrangement for the evening events, whereby,
you can stay on after 6pm
so long as you remain in the Convention Room, and do not attempt to gain
access to any of the Butlins
entertainment complexes or bars etc.
To attend the Friday night Wine Reception and Welcome Presentation tickets
cost £12.
For the whole of Sunday, including the Farewell and Au Revoir presentation,
tickets cost £10.
If you would like full access to the Convention, over the duration of the
event, you can buy a pass for just £25.
[Please note: Prices of tickets and passes does not include cost of
admission to the Butlins centre itself.]
All tickets must be purchased from us IN
ADVANCE.
Anyone who turns up without a ticket, will not be allowed
in.
